The Queen Square Chambers Crime Team is pleased to announce its Winter 2010 Seminar Programme.
The series features seminars in Bristol and Cardiff each carrying 2 hours of CPD. The focus is on 'Young Offenders' but we also present a '2010 Top Ten' of recent, notable developments in criminal case law and legislation which will be of use to the busy practitioner.
Young Offenders - Everything Under The Sun. An in-depth talk of all aspects of Youth Justice, including: sentencing, competence and human rights. This all incompassing seminar is authored by senior criminal pratitioner and Deputy District Judge, Lynne Matthews. It will provide a useful and current guide for practitioners dealing with young offenders in the jurisdictions of both the Youth Court and the Crown Court.
2010 (Criminal) Top Ten. As the year draws to an end we pick out the ten most important developments in criminal law of 2010, distilling the most important new cases,statutes and guidence. Each one contains essential, practical knowledge for the busy practitoner.
