Alison has been instructed by a diverse range of professional clients including solicitors, insurers and local authorities. She acts for both claimants and respondents and has experience of representing clients including NHS trusts, local government, businesses, individuals and charities. As a result of her experience she has an appreciation of the human resources concerns of different types of business from sole traders through to national companies.
Alison has a considerable knowledge base in employment law. She started her career as a writer for the IDS Brief. She regularly presents seminars to solicitors on the latest developments in employment law. She has a particular interest in atypical working arrangements and is the co-author of 'Agency Workers: Law and Regulation'.
