Alison is instructed by a diverse range of professional clients including solicitors, insurers and local authorities. She acts for both claimants and respondents and has experience of representing clients to include NHS trusts, local government, businesses, individuals and charities. She provides representation both in the tribunal and in the EAT. As a result of her experience she has an appreciation of the human resources concerns of different types of business from sole traders through to national companies.
Alison has a considerable knowledge base in employment law. She started her career as a writer for the IDS Brief. She regularly presents seminars to solicitors on the latest developments in employment law.
Alison is a qualified mediator and has a particular interest in workplace mediation.
