Ms Firth-Butterfield is currently taking a sabbatical. She has been invited to teach Communications Studies at St Edwards University and Texas State in Texas, USA.

B.A. Hons in Law with Social Science
Kay has experience of Family Law as both a Barrister and Solicitor. Additionally she taught Post Graduate Law at the University of Cambridge and for the Law Society continuing Education Programme. She has deliberately continued to work across the full range of Family law including high profile big money AR; removal from the jurisdiction and care.
Her practice also includes Inheritance Act claims and the law relating to unmarried couples. She has advised on Pre-Nuptial Agreements. Whilst her principle practice is in Family Law she does have a wide range of knowledge pertinent to her role as Chair of the LVT and RAC.
