The Clinical Negligence work that I do encompasses all areas of mal-practice within the medical/nursing and other paramedical disciplines (see reported cases above).
This includes cerebral palsy cases, adult brain damage cases, as well as neurology, orthopaedic, ophthalmology, gynaecology, paediatric, general surgery, dentistry and General Practice cases.
I have acted and continue to act in cases involving Nervous Shock and all areas of preliminary issues, including, for example, Limitation.
I have acted in many Quantum cases, with extensive Loss of Past and Future Earnings, Pension and Care claims. I have acted in all levels of Quantum cases, some very high, with up to £4 million Damages claimed.
In Personal Injury work, I act in all types of accident and injury relating to road traffic, home, work and industrial accidents. I have acted for an Andersen employee, for example, who was the victim of a slipping accident at work where her loss of earnings as a Director was very large. Her claim was for in excess of £2 million and was settled for a substantial amount of that.
I have acted in all the fori, including The House of Lords, The Court of Appeal, The High Court, The Crown Court, The County Court and the Coroner’s Court and in the first 10 years of Call, when I also did Crime, Immigration and Employment Law, in The Industrial Tribunal, The Immigration Tribunal, The Employment Appeal Tribunal and, in the very early days, The Magistrates Courts!
