Lincoln’s Inn

"Oliver Willmott is a leading junior on serious criminal cases and is developing a strong regulatory practice." - Legal 500 2011

Oliver Willmott is a barrister who combines a flair for advocacy with a talent for analysing the often highly technical provisions that create regulatory offences, an area in which he has a particular interest, together with cases of money laundering and fraud.

Oliver defends a wide range of persons and companies and has prosecuted regulatory offences as a member of the Attorney-General’s Unified List of Prosecuting Advocates for DBERR (now BIS), DEFRA, the Food Standards Agency and the Health & Safety Executive. He is especially known for his ability to argue difficult technical points in a clear and compelling way. He combines these qualities with approachability and a willingness to give frank and practical advice on complicated issues at short notice.
