Profile:
Principal area of practice is Family Law

Children Act Private Law – All types of residence and contact disputes including acting for grandparents and other relatives to establish and maintain their rights. Also cases with an international element – whether of wrongful removal or applications to remove.

Children Act Public Law – Is experienced in acting for both parents and local authorities in this field. Has experience of cases involving multiple potential perpetrators of serious sexual and other abuse.

Injunctions / Committals / Orders under FLA or Protection from Harassment Act or common law of tort – experience of all types of application likely to arise in this area.

Financial Relief. He has a substantial ancillary relief practice. He is experienced in the disclosure and other issues which can arise where property is held in Trusts and/or family businesses. Also related applications under ‘TOLATA’ and schedule 1 of the Children Act.

Mr. Carron is sensitive to the needs of clients and children in all cases; but if negotiation does not result in an acceptable compromise then he will be as robust as necessary in dealing with courts and opponents.


Civil Law:
His areas of practice include: personal injury, contractual disputes, landlord and tenant, TOLATA and other actions in relation to land.Criminal Law:

Mr. Carron has substantial experience of all areas of criminal law, both defending and prosecuting. He has recent substantial experience of defending in rape cases and other offences under the Sexual Offences Act.
