Rebecca has a particular interest and expertise in psychiatric injury sustained through work-related stress. This work encompasses both High Court claims for injury at work caused by breach of duty and also Employment Tribunal claims for discriminatory treatment which has caused injury. Rebecca’s caseload includes many claims of serious psychiatric injury sustained in the workplace and cases involving chronic pain.
Her caseload also includes catastrophic injuries, Fatal Accident Act claims and injuries sustained through accidents at work.

General Practice: Delayed diagnosis of cervical cancer, failure to diagnose emerging cauda equina syndrome, failure to diagnose bladder damage attributable to a migrated suture from historic surgery, negligently performed vasectomy, failure to identify bowel obstruction.

Coroners Inquests: Rebecca frequently represents individuals and families at inquests. She was instructed in the Cabrera Inquest heard in Wiltshire following the sudden death of a new mother in a delivery suite following negligent administration of epidural medication.
