Robin Shellard is an established criminal and regulatory practitioner with substantial experience in all aspects of criminal and regulatory defence and prosecution work.
In addition he carries out a full range of regulatory work such as animal movement regulations; poaching; unsafe practices by retailers such as tattoo shops; and the handling and keeping of explosives. He has prosecuted for Trading Standards and Local Authorities and defended in cases involving trademark infringement and goods sold on E-Bay. Robin also lectures on firearms legislation and frequently represents both the police and gun owners on applications and appeals involving firearms licensing. He has also lectured on The Countryside and Rights of Way Act.
Robin is experienced in dealing with VHCC contracts and cases that involve a large volume of material and numerous defendants.

Robin has very solid experience both prosecuting and defending in serious criminal cases. In addition to his wide-ranging knowledge of general crime, he has particular expertise in prosecuting and defending offences of rape, sexual offences against children, and internet pornography. He has prosecuted offences of people-trafficking, defended and prosecuted in numerous cases involving historic sexual abuse allegations and multiple complainant rape cases involving both adult and child complainants.
