Crime:
Rosie Walsh undertakes both defence and prosecution work and has a growing Crown Court practice involving cases of robbery, violence and public order.
Additionally she has experience in youth crimes, notably sexual offences committed by young defendants, and ASBO proceedings.
Immigration:
Rosie Walsh represents clients in all areas of immigration law with particular experience in substantive appeals before the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal.
Interests:
Rosie Walsh has a background in civil liberties and worked as a legal researcher at Privacy International, a human rights organisation in London, and in the privacy and technology department of the American Civil Liberties Union in New York. This work involved issues of DNA and genetic privacy, financial surveillance and national ID cards. She is a member of Lawyers for Liberty and Amnesty International.
